Meet the Characters of Matrixville!

Neo Kent

Neo Kent was found in the field by the couple Oracle Kent and Councillor Hamann Kent during the Meteor "Matrix" Shower 15 years ago. The Kent couple named him "Neo" after seeing the word written in the form of a "tattoo" or "birthmark" on the back of his neck. They believe that this "tattoo" may someday lead to his true origins.

Neo Kent possesses abilities or "special powers" that can't be done by any human being. His special abilities include the ability to run faster than a speeding bullet, defy gravity through flight, see through anything (or as we call it, "x-ray vision"), emit heat rays from his eyes, and take any form of physical damage without sustaining any injury. At this point in time, Neo is still discovering the extent of his powers, and the other hidden abilities left unearthed.

Neo is currently studying in Matrixville High, together with some of his friends. the only people who know of his powers are his parents, and his best friend, Morpheus Ross. Neo believes that his powers came with him from birth. But he has a feeling that the true source of his existence comes from his origin...The Matrix....something that even he isn't sure about.

Oracle Kent and Councillor Hamann Kent

Oracle Kent and Councillor Hamann Kent were driving their truck by the fields at the time of the meteor shower. Their truck was hit by a meteor, which turned the truck over, causing the couple to be trapped under it. They knew all hope was lost, until they saw a small image coming towards them. It was a child. The child, which they presumed was around 4 years old at the time, carefully lifted the truck, setting the couple free.

The Kents adopted the child under the name Neo Kent. From that day on, Neo Kent has lived a normal life as his parents' only child. The Kents are both aware of Neo's special abilities, but have decided to keep it a secret from the world, for they know that people are still not ready for a man who can do such impossible things.

Trinity Lang

Trinity Lang's parents died during the meteor shower. She's then lived with her aunt in a house across Neo's. She is one of Neo's closest friends and has been with him since they were children.

Trinity is what most girls would call one of the "popular ones" at school. Still, with such high perceived status, Trin still remains a humble and open friend to Neo and to anyone who needs her. This is what makes Trin very special to Neo. Trin and Neo always find the time to talk to each other, sharing their thoughts about the world and those around them.

Neo actually has secret feelings for Trin, but is still quite unsure as to whether he should reveal his love for her. This is probably because Trin only looks at Neo as a dear friend. But maybe....

Smith Luthor

Smith Luthor is the son of the billionaire, Architect Luthor, who owns Luthor Corp. He was assigned by his father to study at Matrixville, so that he (Smith) could keep an eye on Luthor Corps.' Matrixville division.

Smith was saved (or in Reloaded terms, "freed". lol..JK ^_^) by Neo when Smith's car was hit by a drunk driver and went off the bridge into the river. The event led to the good and trustworthy friendship between Smith and Neo. This friendship is often misunderstood by Neo's bestfriend Morpheus, because of Smith's dark family background. Morpheus believes Smith can't be trusted.

In order to avoid being controlled by his father and their family's dark history, Smith does whatever he can to get what he wants, and to do what is right...even if this means that he has to do things in mischievous and selfish ways at times.

Smith also has a secret crush on Trin. But knowing that Neo loves her, he's trying to stay away from her as much as he can.

Morpheus Ross

Morpehus Ross is Neo's best friend. They've been together since childhood and have been good and close friends since then. They trust each other with their lives and look at each other as brothers.

Morpheus is very athletic and often engages in sports. He is in fact one of the best players of Matrixville High's Football team.

Aside from Oracle and Hamann Kent, Morpheus is the only one who knows of Neo's super human abilities. During a fire incident in Matrixville, Morpheus accidentally saw Neo punching through a brick wall to rescue a child trapped in a room. Knowing that Morpheus can be trusted, Neo told him what he truly is and what his abilities are.

Morpheus is also a close friend of Pesephone Sullivan.

Persephone Sullivan

Persephone Sullivan is Neo's female best friend. She also grew up with both Neo and Morpheus in Matrixville.

Persephone is like a walking encyclopedia where any information can be derived from. If you need any information about current events in Matrixville, Persephone is the person to go to. This is because she is the head editor and writer of Matrixville High's Newsletter. She is often called "scoop girl", probably because of her undying curiosity about everything. She can often be seen writing her articles and researching facts in the editing room, sitting in front of her computer.

Unfortunately, her curiosity often leads to her getting in trouble, which forces Neo to keep an eye out on her more, especially when trouble is abound.

Persephone has secret feelings for Neo. It seems as if her friendship towards him has turned into something deeper..."love". But knowing that Neo already has his eyes on Trin, she's decided to keep her feelings to herself.
